Melissa's Journey " Standing in Freedom ' tells my story that led me to complete freedom from addictions. Throughout the pages of my story, I show emotional struggles that led me to addiction. My life is a story of brokenness and emptiness. The hands of God rescued my once miserable life. His love rescues me from death. Within the lines of my pages, tears are turned into healing. The life that I once lived no longer depresses me. Instead, God has lifted me out of the pit and placed my feet on solid ground. I hope to help others overcome the very thing that is wreaking havoc in the world today, depression and addiction. There is no better remedy than the Love of God, which is found in the pages of my testimony. I encourage others to come take a walk on my journey and watch how God takes each broken piece of me and puts me back together. He has made me whole and made me free from every chain that held me bound To God be the glory through my story
