Great Book, Importan Subject

The domination of the media by large "mega"corporations has a far reaching impact on our "free" society. This book lucidly explains how this has come about, how it affects the nation, and what we might do as citizens to deal with this problem. This book is invaluable at shedding light on a problem that has been ignored (I wonder why) by most other major media outlets. It takes on the big guys and should be required reading for anyone who cares about the free exchange of ideas in a democratic society!!!

saw it on GPA

This book was mentioned on a recent public TV special which investigated "free" speech. As a high school student with aspirations of entering the world of mass communications, I may now consider reading this book, in hopes of understanding manipulation of the public by the media.
