Meet Tanaka

Tanaka's dream is simple. It is to get along with her classmates. She experiences a cultural shock when she starts in her new school. With laden feelings of rejection and yearning the opportunity for inclusion, it comes as no surprise that Tanaka would do whatever it takes to win the hearts of her classmates. Smashing the school fire alarm and causing a massive evacuation is just one of the things she is coerced into doing to feel accepted. Yet, that feeling of acceptance has come at a price. Erika the class bully will not stop terrorizing Tanaka. Erika suspects that Tanaka has written a love letter to one of the popular boys in the class. Tanaka is afraid that Erika will do anything in her power to reveal her secrets and cast shame on her in the process. Will Tanaka ever begin to totally fit into her new school and new life, or will Erika's continued attempts to shame her and cause trouble for her, affect her progress?
