Excellent, full of photos, history, food details.

I loved the beauty pf the book with so man full color photos, but not to be outdone, the information was rich with specific details of each country which was covered. It was like taking a culinary tour of the Mediterranian from France to Greece and beyond. Its only minor shortcoming was the lack of beef and pork-centric meals but it was heavy on fish, lamb and chicken entrees. I learned a lot and I am an accomplished cook so it was very useful to me.
