Scriptum stilo ardenti et sincero, "Meditationes" non solum documentum historicum theologiae christianae manet, sed etiam dux vivus ad vitam interiorem colendam. In hoc textu, lectores invenient meditationes de Trinitate, de mysteriis Christi, et de pulchritudine divina quae cor inflammat. Est fons sapientiae pro omnibus qui silentium orationis et intellectum mysteriorum caelestium petunt.
Hoc opus fundamentale momentum habet in traditione spirituali Occidentis, coniungens rigorem intellectualem cum affectu pio. Ut classicum litterarum latinarum et christianarum, "Meditationes" pergit inspirare fideles et studiosos per universum mundum, praebens viam ad pacem mentis et unionem cum Deo.
