A short summary.

This was a fascinating, incredible time in history, and this book hardly scratched the surface. There's so much more that could have been covered. The things that were covered was only briefly mentioned. It leaves to much out, even if used just as a spine.

Great Overview of Medieval Period

Simple, straightforward text and pictures give a terrific overview of what was going on in the Medieval World. A jumping off place for getting more in depth. Maps and graphics are beautiful. The internet links are very helpful as well.

Great historical text

This is a wonderful book. Full of colorful pictures and text that is easy to read. Holds the interest of all ages, or a great read aloud for younger kids. Highly recommend for anyone studying this time period.
