Medics & Radios has 4 key components, 3 of which can be used independently. The Fallout 4 mods, the online Basic Course and the offline Meetup Group all meet certain demographics in the real-world. Those who want to combine all 3 and participate in the various milsim events around the US as part of a Response Team can be invited to do so.

Medics & Radios is a series of immersive, scenario-based drills that train LARP'ers to shoot, move and communicate to Scouting merit badge standards for First Aid, Radio and Rifle Shooting with additional material from the Emergency Preparedness, Hiking, Orienteering, Geocaching, Backpacking, Camping, Outdoor Survival and Search & Rescue merit badges. Medics & Radios is not affiliated with Scouting in anyway, these are simple standards.

The free, online, self-paced Medics & Radios Basic Course and manuals allow team members to train from home and develop a local training team. All of the core material is free to download online, including this book.

Based on the real-world FEMA Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and NWCG Wildland Firefighter programs, Medics & Radios provides a progressive, standardized, free tool for training Responders and Staging Area staff to roleplay functioning as a medical team extracting a patient from a post-apocalyptic environment.
