A young girl is really good at running, but she feels bad about her size. Even though she's great at sports, her classmates sometimes make fun of her, and she wonders if she's good enough. But she really wants to feel good about herself, so she listens to her family and friends who love her for who she is, not just how fast she can run. Little by little, she starts to be proud of how strong she is. As a parent, watching your child suffer from the mean words of others is one of the hardest things to experience. As a teacher, seeing students excluded or painfully ostracized due to their physical characteristics is heartbreaking and one of the downsides of the profession. It is important to realize that ALL of God's people have a purpose, and it is to glorify Him in all that we do.
