Very Good Overview

A good meal for the mind's eye. Feeds the inner engineer, satisfying their curiosity. I have to admit beyond the principles of calculus-based physics (with some extra studies in thermodynamics and statics), I had almost no exposure to the fruits of mechanical engineering. A thirty-year old virgin to the mechanical-side of engineering. This book is probably as concrete as gets. Minimal abstractions. Lots of pictures. And I'm totally enjoying myself.
