Ann Holt Funkhouser envisioned a music program that highlighted the talent of our area's students. Never doubting what the students could do, she enlisted the help of many of Hardy County's residents and made this vision a reality. Ann Funkhouser readily gives credit to one and all who were part of this process, but it has to be said that without her at the helm, the tremendous musical culture currently available to students in our county's school system could not have developed as rapidly and fully as it did.
