Great for the budding political star.

Whether you're looking to run for a spot on the local School board or just interested in what a candidate goes through to get elected, Mean Business is worth a read. It offers plenty of practical advice that can be applied to any election, and the "guest" authors such as Newt Gingrich and Dale Bumpers offer a lot of insight (and thankfully, they don't get into politics, just the campaign).Overall, I'd recommend this book to anyone who is interested in politics.

Opening the Eyes of Society

If others were truly literate they would have read the book and realized that this is not a book based on egos or attitudes but rather hard core truth and insider information. There are several points I'd like to express to this, "reader in Ga" 1. You're obviously not sure of yourself or you wouldn't have been anonymous 2. It sounds like you may have a little bit of jealousy going on towards the two writers 3. If Matt Towery was in the room, then he was in the room. I'm sorry thatyou make such an issue of it. That statement reflects back to my summary on line 2. 4. You commented on his tenure in office, my question is, how long was your tenure? 5. Who says that he was in office when he got, "all" his experience. It would take someone of great stupidity to ASSUME that he got ALL his experience while he was in office, like he didn't have a life before his tenure or one after. You can rest assured that, Matt Towery and Pierre Howard probably know more people than are in your entire family line since the birth. 6. Let's face it... you my dear before you decide to reflect on such a book as, Mean Business please have the knowledge, experience, contacts and constructive criticism to truly make a positive impact on society. Next time try to make an impact on people's judgments that will educate them. Stop trying to keep people in the dark and ignorant of the truth. That is truly a poor human quality to make terrible choices as the one you made...
