Has low self-esteem sabotaged your chances of having a fulfilling relationship? It did for me. I wrote this book in hopes of encouraging women not to put themselves through what I put myself through.

It is human nature to want to be loved -- but not at the cost of your own self-worth. Lack of self-esteem affects not only adolescent girls but women of all ages. Many grown and successful women battle this inner demon. This struggle is made even worse when an unscrupulous man enters the picture and seeks to take advantage of women in this weakened state. Looking back, I can't believe I allowed that to happen -- repeatedly.

Every person deserves respect. Getting respect means first giving respect to yourself. If you do this, God will send the perfect person to love you just the way you are. You must arrive at a point of self-care and self-pride where you can say to any man, proudly, "I love me before I love you. I deserve unlimited love, respect, success, and devotion."

If you truly love yourself, then fill yourself up with positive affirmations and the conviction that you are a good person, leaving no room for anyone to dump their garbage on you. Tell people who try to do that to go find an empty container -- because yours is already full.
