Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0 has many companies changing their desktops to this powerful network client with enhanced security features. This move has created a need for training to help users... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I found this book a helpful resource in filling in on some topics I don't cover daily in my job. It was a helpful refresher on several subjects. This book is VERY similar to the Server Exam Cram by the same publisher but does provide enough Workstation specific details to make it worthwhile. I've noticed a lot of people are down on this book because it isn't a "complete" resource for the exam. Well, it isn't. No book I've found can replace the hands-on experience you need to succeed in this field. Don't expect to be able to read any book and be completely successful. Do your self a favor and get the job experience first. I will buy from the Exam Cram Series again.
Passed with just this!

This was enough for me to pass with 830. It took me about 2 months. I cannot recommend it enough. It is designed for passing the exam and does not skirt around the subject. I wish I had got the network essentials one for the previous exam.
After failing on first exam try...All that I needed.

I had taken Workstation and almost passed. Read the book front to back (only took two days, easy to read), went back and made 800. Not perfect but I'll take it.

What we liked best about the NT Workstation Exam Cram (and the entire series in general) is that the book summarizes all available information into just what you need to know for the exam. Some people have complained of errors in the past but they have been largely rectified by the Coriolis people. The only complaint we had was the format of the questions and the answers which are right next to each other (the questions are otherwise excellent). This book definitely qualifies for the MCSETutor.com recommended list.
Well Worth the money you paid for

I have studied the Sybex Workstation 4 along with the Test sucess from Sybex, I know I may be able to pass the exam but I am not very sure. I brought the Exam Cram book the day before the exam, it just clears up all the nitty things about the NT. I was so confident after I read this book. I passed the 1st time with 901.
