Mckinney High

I do recommend this book, because it talks about determination and team work and that is what a team should be like. It is mainly about a coach who has never coached before and has to teach a team of high schoolers who have never played football.On the way he gets alot of critisium on how bad he coachs and he shows that he keeps trying and trying to win a game.

If you like football you will love this book the Mickinney Hight 1946. The year is 1946 the football team did not win a game in two years and they just lost their coach. A new couple moves into the town and they are looking for jobs. Pete and Beth are the new couple. Pete is looking for a job as a manager at Mickinney High 1946 because ther was no coach the principl told Pete to be a new coach. Pete does a good job traning the teame. The Mickinney High becomes so popular that over 750 people come to their game. Happiness ends when Billy, a player from the team, dies because of high blood presure in his brain. But the team didn't give up, to be the number 1 team in Texas. The last game was the most important one. The team worked very hard to win it, and they ________ the game.Do you think that they won the game and became champions? Well if you want to find out you will have to read this book "Mickinney High 1946" by Ken Gire. In my opinione the book is grate. Also the book will pick your spirite up.
