A GREAT Handbook

I have found this book to be very helpful as I start up my business, "Tilden Editing Services." There was a lot of printing/ publishing history; that is, words we use which just don't mean what they did years ago. (Like "print," "galley," and many others. Once I got past the history, I found a lot of very helpful material. Some I knew, some I'd forgotten, and some I really wasn't aware of. This is the kind of book one needs to wake up the knowledge stored up inside you, that's just waiting for you to take hold of it. Yes, I recommend "McGraw-Hill's Proofreading Handbook" to anyone in the publishing or editing business.
