What a big help!

This book is proving to be a big help to the girl I am tutoring. I had borrowed the Barron's version of the book from the library, which is also great, but decided to go with the McGraw-Hill version when purchasing. I am very happy that I did!

Okay but......

This is a good book. But it doesn't cover everything. I wanted to see more as far as dangling participles, prepositions (not just phrases) interrogatives, paraphrases, clauses, and the very basic structure of English. I would also like to see more punctuation. If you have already taken an English course this is good. But not for the novice. It covers the basics. But does not go far enough!
