It?s perfectly good for this exam

I see a lot of complaints in regards to the use of beta in this book. I feel quite differently from some. The fact that this book was and is offered before others makes it extremely valuable to me. Plus, the book is certainly not "junk". Anyone who knows the product and is an intermediate or advanced user should realize that the use of beta does not devalue this at all. Incorrect and useless information devalues a book, and this one is not bad. Strong sections on replication, and replication scenarios. Would have liked a bit mpore on planning for nstallation, but even this is not a bad chapter. Found a few typos, but nothing overwhelming. This is a good value, and I don't think you'll be disappointed in it.

Very Satisfactory Book

Good material on n-tier application strategy, and issues regarding Microsoft Transactions Server. the test was hard. I'm keeping this book as a resource. I used it yesterday to guide me thru installing a full text search service and full text search for specific colums and tables.

A Sound Purchase

Sql server 7 is not an easy exam, buyt with this study manual and cd i did fine. I was pleased that the book includes free membership to the Global Knowledge Network website. Exam watch warnings were helpful, and the text was very well presented. No complaints.

Super coverage; well written

This book is comprehensive and an easy read. The info on upgrading from a SQL 6.x database is very well done. I can't imagine it being presented better.

full of great tools for studying

I bought this book specifically because of its coverage of all the SQL/Admin objectives. I like the drills at the end of the chapters and the review questions. Not so fond of the Exam Watches, I expected beefier content, but that's a small quibble.I also found that there is a lot of good information for after the exam that I have been able to apply at work. Overall I am very pleased.
