My First Cookbook

I love this cookbook. My great aunt gave it to me when I was 11 or 12 (long LONG ago) and every thing I cooked came from this book. I made muffins for my little grandmother every Sunday. My first spaghetti recipe. I still make the meatloaf, the macaroni and cheese, the deviled eggs, that I found in these pages. My Thanksgiving turkey, dressing, and gravy are out of this cookbook. Three or four years ago, I bought a well kept model of the same book. I have a substantial cookbook collection now as I approach my 70th year but I always look in my green McCall's Cookbook first.
