I know of a young man who died in his early 30s, after a brief public career brought him fame and popularity in his territory.
The tragic element in his story is that after the stunning success, he was falsely accused of a crime that resulted in his imprisonment, public trial and execution. The death penalty was carried out and his life ended in utter humiliation and shame.

I would weep as I think of the whole sad, sordid spectacle of this social injustice. I doubt if there is another case in history where a bright mind and a good heart rose so rapidly in prominence and popularity, only to drop so precipitously in the public eyes.

But soon after his condemnation and public execution, the truth came out and he was declared not guilty after all That young man's name was eventually vindicated.

"Of what use", you will ask, after his death. His honour was restored by honest and honorable followers. His name today is the most respected and renowned in the world. His birthday, and funeral became public holidays in most countries of the world.

I know Him. He is my Friend. He is my Inspiration. His name is JESUS CHRIST. HE DIED. HE WAS BURIED AND HE IS RISEN.
