Worth the Search

Maximillian's Garden should be reprinted. When first released it was marketed as a romance novel...the cover looked pretty hokey. But the story it tells is a panorama of turbulent Mexican history. Nina Vida weaves together the fates and lives of not only her personable characters but also...Frida Kahlo, Leon Trotsky, Benito Juarez, the massacre at Plaza Tlatelolco in 1968. Give this book a chance to enchant you. You will want to share it. I have.
