Bone sarcomas of the maxilla and mandible (SOMM) are rare but serious tumors due to their aggressiveness, complex anatomical localization, diagnostic delays and frequent recurrences. A retrospective study conducted at CHU Habib Bourguiba in Sfax between 2008 and 2018 included 14 patients (mean age 39.7 years, majority male). Mandibular localization was the most frequent (71.5%), and chemotherapy was used as initial treatment in 64.3% of cases, followed by carcinological surgery with reconstruction in 9 patients. Chondroblastic sarcomas were the most common (42.9%), and overall survival at 5 years was 41.8%, with unfavorable prognostic factors such as smoking (p=0.043), advanced age and maxillary locations (p=0.010). Despite therapeutic efforts, the prognosis of SOMM remains poor, whatever the histological type.
