Matza 101 An Innovative cookbook containing Creative recipes simply made with Matza by Jenny Kdoshim and Debbie Bevans. A spiral hardcover cookbook. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Passover is already so hard. You have 2 choices, Meat and potatoes/ Chicken and potatoes. Is this truly the meaning of Passover? NO! Thank G-d for books like this. I think the Rabbis should add it to the Tanach(the Jewish Bible)! J/K All jokes aside, it not only makes your Passover easier, it will make your spouse happy, it will make your kids happy, it will cause less fighting between family members, and it will stop a few world wars. In that light, everyone should own one!
Brilliant, charming, and clever!

I hope this book remains available, because I keep recommending it to people. I treasure it for (a) specific recipes, from matza baklava to matza asparagus crispers (wrapped around asparagus and baked -- a fabulous, interesting, and simple seasonal appetizer!); (b) general techniques you can improvise from (the basic prepared-matza technique, plus an inspiring matza-cookie concept); and (c) the charmingly ingenuous writing style of the authors.
Great Book for Cooking During Passover!

This is a great little book for finding interesting ways to cook for Passover. I found the receipes easy to read and follow. All of the suggestions made by the authors have helped me minimize disasters in the kitchen. I find the receipes to also taste good. I haven't cooked everything in it, but the things I have over the past several years have been a hit. The Matza version of Mac and Cheese is a great example of a simple dish that folks (vegetarians and not) kept going back for seconds. Some of dishes may initially look strange when preparing them but they turn out great looking and great tasting. The way the authors describe how to "prepare the matza" is the key to everything. It was a little time consuming in the beginning but become easier as you make more dishes. Great book!

I enjoy this book every Passover season! I have had the book for several years now, and every Passover I dazzle the relatives with delicious desserts that make everyone say "This can't be matza!" The cookies are exceptional, as are the tarts. The lasagne is also tasty! For something new this Passover season, try Matza 101!

This is a great cookbook. It is full of ideas of things you can make from matza. For those of us who observe the week of Pesach, this is full of new and different ideas. Special favorites are the chips, blintzes, and tart shells. The pictures are clear and give you a good idea of what the finished product should look like.
