Although each of the four Gospels has its own unique perspective on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, there is something especially compelling about the gospel as it was written by Matthew. As we set forth to study Matthew's version of the gospel message, we will have the great benefit of being taught by the Lord Himself, as Matthew has presented us with detailed accounts of His major messages with at least 60% of his gospel focusing on the teachings of Christ. The majority of our study will not be what Matthew has to say about Jesus but rather what Jesus has to say to us
