One year, Serigne Saliou Mbacke shared the most famous story that details what happened when Serigne Tuuba was writing the qasida entitled Matlabul Fawzayni. Serigne Saliou said, " Tuuba was inhabited by wilderness and a lion happened to be chasing a 'njaay aleuh (antelope/gazelle)'. The njaay aleuh ran to Serigne Tuuba, hid behind the Shaykh, and hung its front legs on the Shaykh's shoulder. The lion stopped the chase when it faced Serigne Touba. After staring at the Shaykh for a moment the lion left the scene and soon after, the njaay aleuh followed suit and left as well. " Serigne Saliou continued, " You could not guess in what verses was Serigne Touba writing when all that was happening ." Mame Saliou then said, " I will stop there... " and then ended by saying, " Pray for Me, for the Murid Way, and for the Muslims. "
