He always had a love for history and since 1984 created and presented to churches, schools, and civic clubs and groups costumed portrayals of Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. He has been married to his wife, Sara Mac, for over 60 years and they have two children, three grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
