I really like the book but I hate that willa died she was one of my favorite characters in the story because of what she did to the mathesons I know it was probably bad cause she did that voodo and something else i forgot what it was. But anyway one of the injustice of slavery was when the master made Ezechiel married ma tressie when he didnt love her and i didnt really like ma tressie cause she thought that willa was after Ezechiel wish wasnt true she was making a fool of her self for a man that didnt even love her i hate she didnt know the truth i wonder will it be a sequel to this but the good thing came out of this was Liza and Ezechiel got to be together after all. BUT overall it was a good book every one was great in the story even though if i didnt like them.

Super stimulating book!

Matheson's Children is probably one of the best books I've read in quite a while. I couldn't put it down. The personalities and characters were so realistic. Even though it is fiction, I'm sure somewhere in history this event has occured.
