Outstanding course

Except for the fact that the supplier only sent part 3 of a three part course, I love it so much that I bought an entire set from eBay. On the positive side, this course is a must to anyone who wants to understand better what "life" is all about. Here is what I mean: Many times, we learn something superficially. We think we know or understand a subject, but if questioned, it becomes clear that we don’t really grasp it. Professor Judith Grabiner is one of those rare educators who can truly convey a deep understanding of complex topics such as Kant’s theory of space and time, Einstein’s relativity, and non-Euclidean geometry. Professor Grabiner encourages critical thinking and has opened my mind significantly by combining philosophy with science. Her classes are particularly helpful when examining scientific dogmas and hypotheses. The way she presents complex knowledge in a down-to-earth manner makes it applicable to everyday life. I wholeheartedly recommend this course. Professor Grabiner's teaching reminded me of Thomas Hardy's words: “More life may trickle out of men through thought than through a gaping wound.” Best regards , Adam
