I was actually an Applied Trigonometry student of Halberg at Lane C. College in Eugene Oregon back in the 70's. I liked his class but I had no idea at the time how easy life would become with that course. I accomplished a lot of engineering work and construction layout work over the years using the knowledge from his book. What made his work so unique were the real life problems he posed in his book. I confess that I have referenced his book often over the years.

This book has not been around for many years and it is interesting to see how many concepts are the same and also what has changed. For instance the dialog about computers used only flow charts because you still used cards. (I remember those days especially dropping my stack on the way to run a program.) Great job!
