Excellent Workbook with lots of variety and color

This book is interesting and colorful enough that my son will pick it up on his own and work through it. The book contains 10 themed units ("Gone to the Dogs, Creepy Crawlies, At the Circus, etc...), each unit being 10-12 pages. All of the units contain "number & operations" activities (including a few word problems), and each unit ends with a one page review. The book also cover measurement (length, time, weight, liquid); data analysis and probability (reading graphs, tally marks, calendars); geometry (symmetry, shapes); and algebra (patterns, number patterns). These are covered in several, but not all, of the units. There is a tracking form at the end that kids can fill out, and an answer key in the back for kids to check their answers. All in all, a great little review book for any child who needs extra practice or likes workbooks.
