Matching Souls: Of Life and Death

Matching souls is a sweeping romance set in ancient greece. The story begins with two lovers living in a city similar to athens, one of them a prince- Alex, the other his companion- Kallias. When Kallias is brutally murdered in an attempt on Alex's life, Alex must travel to the underworld to reclaim his soul. But along the way dark secrets are revealed and alliances are tested as the kingdoms above and below reel from the death and political turmoil it causes. The story is just under 80,000 words.

Matching souls is inspired by the lore of ancient greece and extensive research done into the greek time period of the seventh century bc, in a fictional city-state relatively isolated off the coast of the medeteranian. This is somewhat dark in terms of realistic violence but with themes of hope, love, and friendship throughout.
