Angelica Moon had never dreamed of anything more than being saved by her mate and starting a brand-new family, but just like in most stories, happy endings don't always turn out as expected, and occasionally, there isn't even a happy ending waiting for you.

When Angelica was a young child, criminals killed her parents, and everyone-including her own brother-blamed her. She is now the smallest member of the group, and one day she decides enough is enough and she departs.
