Lurin's Surrender: It's the hefty bounty on his head that draws Captain Mara Seni to Lurin Vez, not his darkly handsome visage, his intelligence, or his compelling, electric blue eyes. When she... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Bounty hunter Mara Seni has captured a suspected rapist and is returning him to planet Jaron where Mara was hired. The prisoner is suspected to be a Thesha, an extinct race of sexual beings who can charm, entice, and sexually fulfill women without cessation. Mara visits the prisoner and questions him as to his guilt. The prisoner gives Mara his side of the story and Mara leaves without believing him. Once in her cabin, she goes to sleep and begins to dream. Lurin Vez can't believe that he let his guard down and was captured. He is also can't believe that Captain Mara is non-responsive to his mind control efforts. Lurin decides then and there that this calls for drastic measures and so he sets about invading Mara's mind as she sleeps. Bringing himself and Mara to sexual fulfillment, Lurin knows that it is only a matter of time until Mara is his and he is free. Mara and Lurin finally give in to temptation and spend an explosive few hours together. That is when the trouble starts. They let their guards down and Mara's ship is taken over by rebels led by the daughter of the Nobless that hired Mara. The daughter, a cruel nymphomaniac and sexual deviant, wants her very own Thesha and she will stop at nothing to get him. Lurin's Surrender, a futuristic romance, was no-holds-barred hot. I could feel the sexual tension in the air and the electricity that Mara and Lurin experienced when together. Add the element of surprise, throw in some butt-kicking, and finish with a great love story. Lurin was in-your-face hot. I loved how he tried to control Mara and was unable to get her to cooperate. Mara didn't need anything to make her want Lurin, and want him she did. Lurin's Surrender by Marie Harte was a great afternoon read. Not overly loaded with scientific language or futuristic mumbo jumbo, I was able to sit back and just enjoy. Good job Ms. Harte! Talia Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed
