602 Camouflage Engineers

My dad, Rufus, tells me stories about WWII. He served with the 602 Camouflage Engineers. Amazing what they did to fool the eyes of the enemies! I wish I could find some of the guys that he served with, most are gone now. He will enjoy this book! I watched "The Longest Day" with him a few nights ago. We both laughed when they threw out the first rubber dummy paratrooper to fool the Germans...his name was Rufus!

Sneeky people

This book, and similar History Channel shows based on the same events have been around for a long time, but I had to read this one and it had already been surplussed by my local library. It was worth the small cost of a used copy to read Reit's take on the subject.

The perfect gift

After I received this book, I read the chapter headings, and became hesitant. It was a gift, and now I wasn't sure it was going to be appropriate. However, when the receiver unwrapped the gift, he was very excited and appreciative. I'm glad I purchased this book. It turned out to be the perfect gift. A.R.
