The Ancient Church knew that the Gospel of Matthew was written in Hebrew. Here I defend that position, taking the text of Hebrew Manuscript 132 from the National Library of Paris as the base text descended from that original penned by Matthew himself. The entire text of Matthew as well as the reasons I believe it was written in Hebrew and how that connects to the two source hypothesis are collected together into this book.
