Pisemsky Aleksey Feofilaktovich - Russian writer. It belonged to an ancient noble family impoverished. He graduated from the Mathematics Department of Moscow State University in 1844. About 10 years has been in the public service in Kostroma and Moscow. He appeared in print in 1848.
