This is a first person account of the Martin family, who traveled the Pacific NW as migrant workers, "fruit tramps", in the 1920s through the 1930's and 40s. The Martin's, along with other family and friends enjoyed adventures and endured hardships while following the fruit throughout Washington, Oregon and California, spending the clamming seasons in and around Long Beach, Washington where much of the family eventually settled.
