A worldwide revolution, created by a charismatic theocratic communist, takes over Earth in the near future. Those who do not take an oath to the Revolution are enslaved or killed by the Revolution's fanatic loyalists. As a result of the Revolution's failure, Earth rapidly devolves into a dystopian hellscape. A man named Greyson, the head of the Mars Mining Company, convinces Tali, the founder of the Revolution, to allow him and his company's scientists to relocate to Mars, so long as they continue to transport Martian ore back to the Revolution on Earth. After three hundred years on Mars, Ricky Weber, a young descendant of the original Martian settlers, returns to Earth and finds that the people there have regressed into savage, warring tribes, while Earth itself remains verdant and beautiful. Weber wants the people of Mars to return to Earth, but he runs into a stumbling block in Robert Grant, the wealthiest man on Mars who controls all corporations and politicians and has his own agenda. Will Earth be re-inhabited by the civilized culture from Mars, or will history repeat itself and a new revolution ensue? Find out when you read Mars vs. The Cominturn.
