4 stars, Conclusion, yet the story continues MARS ADRIFT (THE HALO TRILOGY BOOK 3) by Kathleen McFall & Clark Hays This is the conclusion to the Halo Trilogy Series. Unfortunately, I did not read the other two books. This one is set up as a stand-alone, but you can tell while reading it, that if you'd read the other books, you'd have a better understanding of who's who and what's going on. This is shelved as a science fiction novel, most of the action takes place on Mars. It's a story of friendship, loss, and devotion. The authors attempted to subtly use other words, instead of straight profanity, like most books these days. Some of that worked well, other words were too close to offensive words for me. All in all, it was an entertaining read. I'll probably read it again. I received a complimentary copy from #pumpjackpress and the authors.
