Marriage is a beautiful connection that can not be judged by time. It doesn't matter if you've been married for 50 years, if you don't have a spiritual connection with the creator, each other, and loyalty, 49 of those years could be pure Hell. But it's not the union of marriage thats the problem, its the people in them. God says when you marry you become one. The problem is too many couples are married living as two separate individuals. His and Her closets. His and Her vehicles. His and Her bank accounts. First Corinthians says Love is selfless. Until you remove self you will never be able to fully love another person. Marriage is not about what your spouse can do for you but what you can do for your spouse.
