In 2011 in Romania, the legislative reform of fundamental institutions of civil law was accomplished by adopting the new Civil Code which came into force on October 1, 2011.The Civil Code was based on the monistic conception of regulation of private law relations in a single code, an aspect which aims to shape an integrating vision, that will influence the Romanian economic and social life.
