Marollruflorich is a curious young chipmunk that went out into the world to find his own place and landed in a comfortable burrow at the bottom of a very old tree. This was a beautiful and exciting world with new friends and lots of good food to eat. He tries to help all of his neighbors and later finds he has a few problems of his own. Everything is new to this chipmunk as he is learning how to get around and where the best places to eat can be found. Something magical happens to Marollruflorich while he sleeps and can no longer find himself. Now he is searching for the answer to his own problem.
