this is not a true biogrqaphy

This book is more of a day-to-day anthology of his singing career. Mario Lanza, the MAN, is only briefly told in very minute pieces. I expected more of a biography of him as a person. His blow-by-blow singing career, is mostly lost on someone who has very little knowledge or interest of Operatic Singers of the Century! So, if you want more of a biographic view of Mario Lanza and his life, choose another book! I found it difficult to finish this book....
