Marianne's Legacy begins when a young girl stops a massacre by highly unorthodox means. Enter a retired forensic detective, working independently of the Sheriff and his top detective, as well as a prominent attorney, who all recognized that all of the factions had a common goal of safety in the community, to bring everyone together to carefully investigate the facts and arrive at a workable solution. The community was able to do so without the interference of political interests or others seeking profit and power.
