At around 8:15 AM, my plane touched down at Albuquerque International Sunport in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. At 8:25 AM, I was greeted with hugs, hellos, kisses, and large beautiful balloons from my Mom, Dad, and older sister, Molly in the baggage claim. Fifty minutes later, all of us are sitting in a booth at IHOP (My favorite sit down restaurant of all time), and about to enjoy a good breakfast "Hi, guys, welcome to I.." The waitress began, meeting her eyes with mine. "Oh my gosh, you are Mariah Jacobs.""Yes, Ma'am." I smiled. "What's your name?""Jenny." The waitress smiled back."It's nice to meet you, Jenny.""It's nice to meet you, too." Taking out her pen and note pad, Jenny asked, "What may I get you today?""I will take cupcake pancakes and sausage please, as well as a Coca-Cola.""Yes, Ma'am " Jenny replied, writing down my order.After taking all of our drink and food orders, Jenny walked away. "I could not have handled that better if I were in your shoes, sister." Molly said, when Jenny was out of earshot. "That was impressive."
