As per the recommendation of the Department of Education, a book project has been undertaken by the Marathi Literary Circle at Durgadevi Saraf Junior College (DSJC) with the aim of studying, collecting and preserving Marathi literary literature, books and various literary aspects.
The core of this project is the expansion of Marathi Literary Dictionary concept, on historical, cultural, social, and literary aspects of the Marathi language in modern English scripts. The Author and main coordinating editor of this book is Prof. Surendra Sawardekar and the Marathi Vangmay has benefited from his literary guidance and editorial direction. The efforts are made to introduce the Ancient Marathi Literature scriptures with an aspect of Bhagavad Gita scripture in the form of basics of "Practicality for Human Life" related to core human values, moral and ethical way of lifestyle and to be intact with bonds to be freed from fear and many hurdles that is obtained during the journey of Physiological, mental, emotional and psychological phases.
The aim of this book is also to provide general readers with an in-depth view of importance of Marathi literature through two aspects: practical devotion and spirituality.
