"Shelby Shields I don't think I can work with her. Find someone else," Pastor Mike Stone told his wife Lois.
"You know she's the best qualified for this trip." Lois replied.
Mike had to agree Shelby was the best qualified for his upcoming mission trip. She was good with children and her faith in God was unshakable.
"But she's sooo weird." He complained to his wife.
"She's no stranger than you or I. You just need to apologize for getting angry with her when she decided to leave our church."
Lois had hit the nail on the proverbial head. Mike was angry with Shelby; she left Stone Bridge Church without a worship leader when she moved unexpectedly.
"Stop being bull headed. You need someone and you don't have a lot of time to find them."
"You're right, Lois, call Shelby." Mike grudgingly agreed and hoped he wouldn't regret his decision.
Shelby Shields' life changes when she follows a Holy Spirit inspired dream and agrees to accompany Mike Stone on a mission trip to Africa. She joins Mike's team hoping to spread the love of God to orphans and teach Bible school in remote villages.
But the trip becomes dangerous when Shelby is kidnapped by an army of children known as the LRA. Held prisoner by their maniacal leader, her faith in Father God is tested as she tries to obey God's will in the midst of sever persecution.
What is God's will for her here?
How will she ever be able to create an army of peace as God had asked her to do? What is an army of peace anyway?
A story of strength, faith, and God's intervention in the midst of impossible circumstances.
