A coming of age book for adults too

This is a wonderful coming of age story. It is filled with the common adventures and downfalls of being a 9-12 year old girl. I enjoyed the Scottish dialect as it made my granny come back to life. Between the glossary and the storyline, the dialect should not be a hinderance to readers. This book may have been written for young-adults to read, but I think grown-ups will enjoy it as well.
