The metal matrix composites is a combination of two or more metals combined, which are remarkably different in chemical and physical properties. The composite material has two constituents viz., matrix and reinforcements. The reinforcements are added to enhance the mechanical properties and wear resistance of the composites. Industries are focused to develop a novel material with low cost with high-performance which leads to the fabrication of hybrid composites. The hybrid metal matrix composite materials are mostly used in automobile, aerospace, defence and marine applications because of its high impressive mechanical and wear resistance properties.
