Manual of Diagnostic and Laboratory Tests

The term "diagnosis" refers to a consensus-based clinical judgment. At the point when we consider a conclusion, it is much of the time considered a clinical determination, for example, hypertension. A nursing diagnosis, in its simplest form, is a diagnosis made by nurses to direct patient care based on their scope and clinical judgment. Nursing diagnoses relate to health conditions and life processes and encompass individuals, families, and communities. The fundamental nursing knowledge is reflected in nursing diagnoses. The methodical and scientific nature of nursing is also reflected in the diagnoses made by nurses.
The purpose of a nursing diagnosis is to support high-quality, evidence-based care in all care settings. The following are a few ways that nursing diagnoses aid in practice.
