It became my handbook for admissions. I wish this book was expanded to include more problems in different ages of patients.

Of great help as I started my residency, especially on late nights when you are afraid you might have missed an order. This book gives you all the things you need to order when doing an admission on topics from MI to GI bleed to Meningitis, Seizures and many more. It does it in the "ADVANDISML" style with explanations for each order on the side. Also orders for the most common proceedures such as Swan-Ganz, Thoracentesis, and chest tubes to name a few. Has common drugs formulary as well. I have not used this book as much as I did during first year, but I was glad to have it then. I recommend it!
